Just like my daddy..

Every time I turn around I realize how fast Mason is growing. Masons two top teeth came in this week and there is only one word to describe it...FUSSY. We are trying to get through it with lots of Tylenol, teethers etc. You name it we have probably tried it! We are pulling up and cruising all around the house. Im thinking Mason will be walking in two months by his 1st birthday!

Derek bought Mason his first John Deere when he was really little and he's starting to enjoy it more since he has started pulling up. Derek is counting down the years until Mason can go hunting with him. For now we will enjoy every second of this sweet little boy because he is growing so fast!

Redneck Friday Night

Let me me just start out by saying this was Whitney's idea =) Last weekend the Bell County Expo Center hosted the monster truck races in Belton. Sara and I have seen Bigfoot numerous times before with my dad, but this was new for Daniel and Derek. We didn't even make it to our seats and Derek had already changed into his new Bigfoot T-shirt he bought. He was officially a fan and he fit right in! We had SO much fun and I haven't laughed that hard in a long time! Until next year...

Our little miracle

Mason Kyle was born April 6. He weighed 7 pounds 8 ounces and was 21 inches long. We are currently at 23 pounds and 31 inches long. We couldn't have asked for a healthier or happier little boy. The last 9 months have been such a blessing. These pictures are a few of my favorites. His smile is quite contagious!

I'm a blogger!

Well, after years of saying I was going to get this blog going it has finally happened! I decided that a blog would be a wonderful way to document the interesting things that happen in the Martin household for those of you who may be interested. I am no longer teaching and feel so fortunate to stay at home with Mason. Derek is still working with his dad doing commercial and industrial real estate/investments. I am so proud of him! We have two dogs Ace and Lilly who think they are human. On top of everything else we are building our new house. We are so excited and hope to move in Feb. 1.
